Epiphone SG Custom Ebony 2022 Electric Guitar

This is a Epiphone SG Custom in Ebony finish. Made in China in 2022, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold plated hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a StopBar tailpiece along with a set of Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, middle volume, neck volume and a master tone control.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Slim Taper profile feeling slender, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience, whilst also promoting ergonomic thumb placement. The Ebony fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, feeling sprightly on the shoulders with the 6 lbs weight. The double cutaways offer the user unobstructed access right up the register, allowing the user to make the most of this rock and roll classic.

The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucker in the middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
