PRS 513 10 Top Matteo Mist 2009 Electric Guitar

This is a PRS 513 10 Top in Matteo Mist finish. Made in the USA in 2009 this guitar consists of a set-neck construction featuring a Mahogany body with Flamed Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include lampshade knobs and Phase II style locking tuning machines. This guitar features five PRS 513 single-coil pickups wired to a 5-way pickup selector, 3-way mode selector, volume and tone.

The 513 profile feels chunky without being cumbersome, giving a vintage feeling to this guitar. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck helps the hand not get stuck when transitioning up and down the neck while the cutaway allows full access to all 22 frets. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, with the standard PRS 10” radius feeling practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques, allowing legato and lead lines to roll off the fingers in an effortless affair. The unique bird inlays add a touch of luxury to the playing experience whilst allowing easy navigation of the fingerboard.

This guitar features the PRS 513 pickup system which is made up of 5 single Coil pickups giving you access to 13 different sounds. The 5-way pickup selector works how you would expect while the 3-way mode selector rewires the pickup in the bass and treble positions giving you access to ‘Heavy Humbucking Mode’ which sounds powerful and rich, ‘Clear Humbucking Mode’ remaining powerful but retaining clarity and ‘Single Coil Mode’.
