Few things beat a good set of free weights for flexible training. Refurbished free weights from refurbed offer dumbbells and bar sets for up to 40% less than new. Every item is refurbished by experts: used weights are inspected, cleaned, repaired where needed and sold with a warranty.
Fixed dumbbells are ready to grab and fast between sets. Adjustable dumbbells save space by combining several weights in one. Bar and plate sets suit heavier lifts and offer more flexibility over time.
Check the weight of each item. Neo dumbbells are listed in single-kilo steps, which suits gradual progress, while Russ dumbbells come in heavier options such as 12 and 16 kg. Sets, like a 10 to 50 kg urethane set, cover a wide range in one purchase.
Urethane coating is durable and gentle on floors, while rubber and neoprene are comfortable to hold. A good grip matters when your hands get sweaty.
Heavier weights are best kept on a rack or stand. Plan where they will live, particularly if you train in a small room.
Dumbbells can be loud and hard on tiles. A rubber mat or gym flooring protects your floor, and checking that bars and handles feel secure before every session is always a good habit.
Each listing describes the condition of the item, and every one is checked by experts and comes with the min. 12-month warranty. Photos show what to expect, such as light marks from use.
ZIVA offers urethane dumbbell sets in different weight ranges. Italian Design covers a broad selection: Neo and Russ dumbbells, adjustable dumbbells, a bar weight set and a bodybuilding set. You can start with a single pair and add more later.
Refurbished can be up to 40% cheaper than new. It is also more sustainable vs new, since weights last for many years and giving them a second life means fewer new ones need to be made.
Weights from private sellers are often sold without a warranty and without a check of the condition, and loose plates or worn handles are hard to spot in photos. Refurbished weights are checked by experts, covered by a min. 12-month warranty and come with a 30-day free trial.
